Selain jalan cerita yang menarik, dunia Pokemon jg dipenuhi oleh berbagai macam monster-monster lucu nan unik, ini semakin menambah nilai plus untuk serial ini disetiap versinya. Untuk memudahkan jalan anda dalam rangka menjadi Pokemon Master, saya akan berbagi tips dan trik untuk Pokemon Black And White. Enjoy ! :)

HM Slave

In Pokemon Black and White, Cut is the only HM move required to complete the main storyline, and even then it does not require frequent use. However, many items and side-quests may require you to use the HMs Strength, Surf, Dive and Waterfall. HM Fly is useful as it allows you to instantly return to towns you have previously visited.

Caracosta

Carracosta learns four out of the six HMs: Surf, Dive, Waterfall, and Strength. It can be found relatively early in-game as a fossil in the Desert Resort.

Samurott

Samurott has access to Cut, Strength, Waterfall, Dive, and Surf and can be obtained very early being a starter Pokémon. However, this forces you to start with Oshawott.

Frilish

Frillish learns Surf, Waterfall, Dive, and the TM Flash, which is useful for exploring Wellspring Cave and Challenger's Cave. It can also be obtained relatively early in the game.

Basculin

Basculin learns Surf, Dive, Waterfall and Cut and can be found on almost every water area in the game.

Swanna

Swanna gets Fly, Dive and Surf. You can find it in Swirling Dust spots on the Marvelous Bridge.

Fast Money

There are many ways to quickly become a millionaire in-game. If you are going the tried-and-tested route by grinding on trainer battles all day long, don't leave home without the Amulet Coin; this highly useful hold item is found in Castelia City after defeating the dancers at the fountain. If your Pokemon holds it while battling, you get twice the prize money for winning. This can be used as an effective strategy by battling certain trainers again and again. Some common methods to gain money quickly are listed below:

Abyssal Ruins – The Abyssal Ruins contain just one side-quest. You can find all of the 16 elemental plates and some ancient items here. These relic items can be sold to the Relic Maniac in the "Riches" Villa in Undella Town. Do note that this area has a step limit.
The Riches – The Riches in Undella Town are a great source of money. You start off battling one person, and every day you fight the same person plus one more member. You can battle six people at most to get an enormous amount of money, especially if your lead is holding an Amulet Coin.
Stadiums – In Nimbasa City, there are two stadiums, namely the Big Stadium and the Small Court. These can be accessed quite early in the game. Trainers can be battled daily, except for some event hours. They provide a good amount of money, especially when coupled with the Amulet Coin.
Other trainer battles – Several trainers give out loads of experience and money, and they can be battled once a week, or even daily! A few of them are:
Ferris Wheel Battle – In Nimbasa City, every now and then a trainer will appear in front of the Ferris Wheel in the amusement park. You can ride on the Ferris Wheel after defeating them.
Cynthia Battle – You can battle her everyday in her house in the Undella Bay, in the months of Spring.
Morimoto Battle – You can battle a trainer based on GameFreak employee Shigeki Morimoto in the GameFreak building in Castelia City. You can battle him all seasons.
Opelucid City Battles – In a house near the Route 10 exit, there are two trainers who will battle you everyday. It can either be a Rotational Battle or a Triple Battle depending on your game version.
Cheren – You can battle Cheren everyday at the seventh floor of Victory Road.
Bianca – You can battle Bianca every Saturday night in Professor Juniper's Lab.

Gift Pokemon

Elemental Trio – An NPC in the Dream Yard will give you a Pansage, Pansear or Panpour depending upon the starter.
Zorua – Found in a building in Castelia City, if the Movie Celebi has been transferred with the Relocator.
Larvesta Egg – Given by an NPC in a house in Route 18.
Archen / Tirtouga / Fossils in general - Revive the corresponding fossil in the Nacrene Museum.
Magikarp - Not technically a gift, but you can purchase a Magikarp in Marvelous Bridge for $500. It should be noted that this is the only way to get Magikarp in-game apart from the Dream World or transferring.

Special Pokemon

Musharna – After defeating the Elite Four, a Telepathy Musharna is found in the Abandoned Lot of Dreams every Friday.
Volcarona – A Volcarona can be found in the basement of the Relic Castle after defeating the Elite Four.
Darmanitan – Some Zen Mode Darmanitan can be found outside the Relic Castle. You'll need a RageCandyBar to battle them.

Daily Events

Swarms – After receiving the National Dex, each midnight, a Pokemon is chosen as a swarm Pokemon in a particular route. These Pokemon are usually not found in Unova. To see what route a swarm is happening, go to the gates situated between two cities and check your Dex.
Pinwheel Forest Rock – In Pinwheel Forest, there is a stone in the south-eastern part. Taking a Fighting-type Pokemon there will allow you to interact with the rock. It gives you a Star Piece. This Star Piece can be sold for $4900 to regular Poke Marts, or for $9800 to a man in Icirrus City Pokemon Center.
Ingredients Lady in Route 5 - You can sell any food items to the maid inside the trailer found in Route 5. The prices at which she buys items is:
Big Mushroom - $5000
BalmMushroom - $25000
Castelia Cone - $2000
Leftovers - $200
Lucky Egg - $200
Old Gateau - $4000
Rare Candy - $10000
Shoal Salt - $7000
TinyMushroom - $500

Extra Items Via Trading

In Castelia City, an NPC located on the top floor of the Pokemon Center will give you items based upon the number of trades you’ve made. However, each item can be obtained only once from him.

Items:
Wide Lens – 5
Everstone – 10
Zoom Lens – 20
Choice Scarf – 30
PP Max – 40
Master Ball – 50

Breeding

You can improve the results of your breeding by utilizing a few tricks. They are:

Use the Power Items and the Everstone to their complete extent. They help you pass good IVs and the parent's nature to the offspring.
Have a Pokemon with Flame Body or Magma Armor as an ability in your party. Both halve the amount of steps required to hatch an egg.
Try hatching Eggs in long places like the Skyarrow Bridge. It makes it easier to obtain the amount of steps required to hatch the egg.
Carry 5 Eggs at once in your party. This reduces the time it takes to hatch many eggs.
Smeargle is an excellent parent for Pokemon in the Field Egg group. It can pass down any egg move combination by using its signature move Sketch in double battles. You can easily get into a double battle on demand in routes such as Route 3. If your Smeargle is faster than your other Pokemon, have the slower Pokemon use the move you want Sketched on your Smeargle on the first turn. Use Sketch the next turn, and voila, your Smeargle has the move you wish to pass down!

Wings

Wings allow you to increase the EVs of your Pokemon in a specific stat by one point. Unlike standard Vitamins, these can be used even after reaching 100 EVs for a certain stat. They will not work after reaching 255 EVs, though.

The Health Wing raises a Pokemon's HP EVs.
The Muscle Wing raises a Pokemon's Attack EVs.
The Resist Wing raises a Pokemon's Defence EVs.
The Genius Wing raises a Pokemon's Sp. Attack EVs.
The Clever Wing raises a Pokemon's Sp.Def EVs.
The Swift Wing raises a Pokemon's Speed EVs

Audino Grinding

Wild Audino can be found in shaking spots in the grass throughout Unova on both Black and White. They provide enormous amounts of experience, especially with a Lucky Egg.

Entralink

The Entralink is situated in the center of Unova. Pokemon transferred from the Dream World appear in the Entree Forest there. This special place also gives you access to special powers called Entree Powers.

In Castelia City, a lady gives your Pokemon a massage each day. This massage boosts the happiness of the Pokemon.

In Castelia City, there is an old man who will change the nickname of your Pokemon. He can be found in a building to the left of the entrance to Route 4.

In Castelia City, a lady gives your Pokemon a massage each day. This massage boosts the happiness of the Pokemon.

In Castelia City, there is a clown in a building who will request to see a specific type of Pokemon. If you show him that type of Pokemon, he will give you Berries.

IV and EV Checking

IV Judge
In the Battle Subway in Nimbasa City, there is an NPC who will check the IVs of your Pokemon. He will indicate the overall ability of your Pokemon based on the total number of IVs in each stat added together.

Opening statement (Based on the total of the IVs of the Pokemon):
"This Pokemon's potential is decent all around." – Total: 0-90
"This Pokemon's potential is above average overall." – Total: 91-120
"This Pokemon has relatively superior potential overall." – Total: 121 - 150
"This Pokemon has outstanding potential overall." – Total: 151 - 186

Second statement (Depending upon the highest IV of your Pokemon):
"It's rather decent in that regard." – IV: 0-15
"It's very good in that regard." – IV: 16-25
"It's fantastic in that regard." – IV: 26-30
"It can't be better in that regard." – IV: 31
Note: If the Pokemon has 31 IVs in more than one stat, the IV judge will tell you the stats that have 31 IVs followed by:
"It can't be better in that regard."

Hidden Power Man

In Mistralton City a man next to the Pokemon Center Nurse will tell you the type of your Pokemon's Hidden Power. However, if the Pokemon doesn't learn Hidden Power, he won't tell you the Hidden Power type.

The Battle Institute

Next to the Pokemon Center in Nimbasa City, there is a Battle Institute. It can help you check your Pokemon's IVs as it levels them to level 50 automatically. Using it along with the IV judge and the Hidden Power man can help you to get exact IVs using an IV calculator.

EV Checker

The EV Checker can be found on the first floor of a small house located north of the Opelucid City Pokemon Center. Depending on the number of EVs your lead Pokemon has gained, she gives you one of two messages:

"Your <Pokemon>...
looks like it can try a little harder." – 0-509 EVs
"Your <Pokemon>...
has put in a great effort!" – 510 EVs
However, note that she no longer gives out an Effort Ribbon.

Snivy, Tepig, And Oshawott

Dalam Pokemon Black & White, pemain memulai petualangan di kota Nuvema. Bersama dengan dua orang sahabat yaitu Cheren dan Bianca, pemain mendapatkan Pokemon starter dari Profesor Juniper untuk memulai perjalanan menjadi seorang Pokemon Trainer. Pokemon starter itu terdiri dari Snivy yang bertipe Grass, Tepig yang bertipe Fire dan Oshawott yang bertipe Water. Profesor Juniper yang merupakan Profesor Pokemon wanita pertama dalam serial Pokemon juga akan memberikan PokeDex untuk mencatat data-data Pokemon yang ditemui di dalam liar. Tugas pemain selain mengumpulkan delapan lencana gym guna mengikuti liga Pokemon juga harus mengumpulkan data-data dari 156 Pokemon asli Unova.

Pokemon Black & White sebagai generasi terbaru game Pokemon menghadirkan banyak sekali fitur-fitur baru yang tidak pada seri-seri sebelumnya. Dengan Global Link, pemain bisa bertarung dan bertemu dengan para trainer dari seluruh dunia. Male And Female Main Character

Pokemon yang hanya bisa ditemukan pada versi Black yaitu Cottonee, Whimsicott, Gothita, Gothorita, Gothithele, Vullaby, Mandibuzz, dan Reshiram. Sementara Pokemon yang hanya bisa ditemukan di versi White yaitu Petilill, Liligant, Solosis, Duosion, Reuniclus, Rufflet, Braviary, dan Zekrom. Untuk wilayah eklusif, Black City hanya bisa ditemukan di versi Black sementara White Forest hanya bisa ditemukan di versi White.

Unova menjadi setting utama Black & White, sebuah region yang berada jauh dari empat region sebelumnya. Hal ini terlihat dari nomor urut rute yang dimulai kembali dari rute 1, senada dengan semboyan Pokemon Black & White yaitu "Start from a New Beginning". Region Unova menjadi region pertama dalam serial Pokemon yang memiliki nama berbeda antara versi Inggris dan Jepang. Pada versi Jepang region ini bernama Isshu. Region ini terdiri dari 14 kota dimulai dari Nuvema hingga Anville yang masing-masing memiliki keunikan dan cerita tersendiri. Dari keempat belas kota tersebut yang terbesar adalah kota Castellia, sebuah kota metropolitan yang terinspirasi dari Manhattan New York. Kota ini begitu besar dengan begitu banyak bangunan yang bisa dimasuki. Beberapa kota terpisah dengan selat yang dihubungkan oleh jembatan-jembatan besar.

Unova Region

Pada versi Black & White ini, tokoh antagonis yang muncul adalah Team Plasma, sebuah organisasi yang memiliki tujuan untuk memisahkan manusia dengan Pokemon. Organisasi ini dipimpin oleh N, lelaki misterius yang memiliki party berbeda setiap kali melawan pemain. Ada pula Ghetsis, satu dari tujuh sage yang posisinya dalam organisasi merupakan misteri. Black & White berbeda dengan versi-versi sebelumnya dimana pemain harus melawan N dan menangkap Reshiram (versi Black) atau Zekrom (versi White) sebelum pemain bisa berhadapan dengan Champion bernama Adeku, lelaki berambut merah berdiri yang menggunakan variasi Pokemon.

Secara keseluruhan Pokemon Black & White menampilkan Pokemon dalam gaya baru dan game ini sangat sayang untuk dilewatkan oleh para penggemar Pokemon dimanapun berada. Jd tunggu apa lagi? Gotta Catch 'Em All ! :D

Setelah mereview mengenai game Bastion pada postingan sebelumnya, kali ini saya akan berbagi informasi mengenai tips dan trik dalam memainkan game Bastion tersebut. Seperti unlockables, loadout, achievement, walkthrough, bahkan trainernya. Silahkan dilihat! :D

Tips And Trick

Easy 'Kid-at-Arms' Achievement
The weapons in order are: Cael Hammer, Breaker's Bow, Fang Repeater, War Machete, Scrap Musket, Dueling Pistols, Brusher's Pike, Army Carbine, Galleon Mortar, Fire Bellows, and Calamity Cannon.

Easy 'Mind Voyager' Achievement
The first one is the smoking pot (after you rescue the Zulf); the second one is the food cooked by the girl (appears when you nearly have all the cores); the third one is the sleeping sheet, which appears when you bring one of the final shards.

Stick With the Repeater (Crossbow)
The Repeater (Crossbow) you get near the beginning of the game is awesome once upgraded with homing shots that are quite helpful. Stick with it!

New Game Plus Mode
Beat the game to unlock the New Game Plus mode. In this mode your experience level, weapons and upgrades carry over.  Additionally, you can build your structures in any order in the New Game Plus.

Loadouts for Beginners.
For the first 2-3 levels, here are some perfect loadouts:
1. The machete with the breaker's bow. The machete will let you handle close range enemies while the breaker's bow can destroy 2 turrets in a single shot. Practice makes perfect, and you should practice getting power shots till it is a habit.
2. Once you have gotten 3 carrion bones (upgrades for your repeater), use that instead of the bow. The repeater is faster, deals more damage per second, and, with the homing upgrade, always finds a target.

Shingles Fang Repeater Challenge
Getting gold on this challenge is near impossible; you need to destroy every single target. Easier said then done. But try doing this the next time your in the challenge. *LOCK ON* to your targets until you empty your magazine, then roll ahead as you reload. Rolling is faster than walking, you will still reload as you roll, and the locking on eliminates wasting bullets or aiming.

Bullhead Court Shield Challenge
Getting gold on the bullhead challenged is quite frustrating so here are a few pointers.
1. Right after you block an attack, regardless of whether you countered or not, keep blocking. Some turrets shoot 4 balls or you might get attacked by a hidden monster.
2. For the final enemy, the large blue (?) greaser, if you have 2 hits or less, stand right next to the edge and wait for him to charge. Then jump off. He should follow you off the cliff and you will only get one hit.

Weapon Upgrade Materials
Throughout The Kid's adventure in his post-Calamity world, he'll come upon special items that he can use in the Forge to upgrade his assortment of weapons. This is the list of materials that uniquely correspond to each weapon:
Something Heavy - Cael Hammer
Something Stringy - Breaker's Bow
Something Nasty - Fang Repeater
Something Sharp - War Machete
Something Coarse - Scrap Musket
Something Greasy - Dueling Pistols
Something Pointy - Brusher's Pike
Something Fancy - Army Carbine
Something Burnt - Galleon Mortar
Something Foul - Fire Bellows
Something Wrong - Calamity Cannon

Bullhead Court Gold Medal
Although it says the requirement for a gold medal is 2 or fewer hits, you can actually be hit 3 times and still receive the gold medal.

Breaker Barracks Gold Medal
If you upgrade the bow to have +50% damage, the second bow upgrade, you can destroy the targets in one shot, without needing a power shot, making the gold medal much easier. If you are short on upgrade materials, getting a bronze medal will give you one something stringy upgrade material.

Slinger Range Gold Medal
Having trouble with the Slinger Range Proving Ground? You can't get negative points, so shooting a little bit before the first target shows up can get you a few extra points that can make all the difference when going for a gold medal.

Complete the story.

The Stranger (10 points) 
Complete the Wharf District.

Pet Sitter (10 points) 
Get four different domesticated creatures in the Bastion.

Vigilante (10 points) 
Complete at least 50 percent of the Vigils in the Memorial.

Altruist (20 points) 
Complete 100 percent of the Vigils in the Memorial.

Calamity Kid (30 points) 
Complete the story in New Game Plus.

Mind Voyager (20 points) 
Complete each trip to Who Knows Where.

Kid-at-Arms (10 points) 
Use the Forge to apply at least one upgrade to every weapon.

The Ura (20 points) 
Stop the siege on the Bastion.

The Beginning (20 points) 
Complete the story, embracing the New World.

The Survivor (10 points) 
Complete the Hanging Gardens and speak with the Survivor in the Bastion.

The Singer (20 points) 
Complete Prosper Bluff and speak with the Singer in the Bastion.

Membuat sebuah game, terutama untuk RPG PC yang bagus, tidak perlu membutuhkan dana besar ataupun membuat gfx game yang super ribet nan tercanggih. Salah satu pengembang game independent (Indie) yang masih kecil, bernama Supergiant Games. Ia bekerja sama dengan Warner Bros Interactive untuk merilis sebuah game pc bergenre RPG aksi yang sederhana tapi sangat menggigit yaitu Bastion. Di tengah-tengah game pc kelas AAA yang bertaburan efek-efek khusus yang berlimpah, maka tampilan game ini bisa dibilang sederhana, namun isi game ini sangatlah kompleks dan rumit.

Bastion menceritakan seorang remaja cowok, yang biasa dipanggil sebagai The Kid, pada suatu hari ia terbangun begitu saja dari tidur panjangnya dan ia mendapati jika kamar tidurnya itu sedang melayang-layang di angkasa. Ia melihat lingkungan di sekeliling di bawah kamar tidurnya, bahwa dunianya yang sebelumnya telah ia tempati selama ini ternyata sudah hancur berantakan, terkena suatu musibah besar yang belum ia ketahui asal usulnya. Sebagian sisa-sisa reruntuhan dunia berada melayang-layang di angkasa, sama seperti kamar tidurnya. Maka, the Kid pun mulai berpetualang untuk mencari tau apa yang telah terjadi sebenarnya dengan dunianya itu, dan mengapa dirinya bisa selamat dari musibah besar tersebut.

Selama petualangan untuk memecahkan berbagai misteri seputar musibah besar itu, the Kid akan selalu di temani oleh sebuah narasi yang dibacakan oleh seorang kakek bijak, yang juga salah satu orang yang selamat dari musibah besar itu. The Kid sendiri baru mengenal sang kakek bijak itu ketika ia tiba di sebuah benteng udara, yang juga melayang-layang diangkasa bernama Bastion. Sang kakek yang berasal dari Caelondia itu, yang entah sudah berapa lama tinggal di Bastion, ia akan menceritakan kepada gamer dan the Kid itu sendiri secara bertahap, latar belakang dari siapa the Kid itu, apa nama dunia the Kid itu, dan siapa, apa, mengapa musibah besar itu terjadi. Dan, apa yang harus The Kid lakukan untuk mengatasi itu semua. Berdasarkan narasi dari sang kakek bijak, seiring waktu berlalu, maka mulai terkuak jika dunia the Kid ada dua negara yang telah lama saling berseteru, yakni Caelondia, tempat kelahiran The Kid dan Ura.

The Kid

Dalam petualanganya itu, The Kid akan bertemu dua orang lagi yang berhasil bertahan hidup dari musibah besar yang melanda Caelondia dan Ura, yakni cowok remaja Zulf dan seorang cewek muda, Zia. Dulu, keduanya asli dari negara Ura tapi telah lama tinggal di Caelondia, dan kini mereka terdampar di reruntuhan dunia yang meyanag-layang di angkasa. Pertemuan dan interaksi antara The Kid, sang kakek dan kedua imigran dari Ura tersebut di Bastion, akan membuka sebagian kunci misteri yang menyelubungi dunia tersebut. Gaya penceritaan yang lambat ini, sepenuhnya dinarasikan seorang diri oleh sang kakek bijak tersebut, jadi ia bercerita berdasarkan sudut pandangnya sendiri. Lalu, ia akan menjelaskan berbagai misteri di RPG Bastion ini bukan dengan bahasa teori yang rumit, melainkan dengan kata-kata yang sederhana namun mampu menjelaskan berbagai peristiwa yang telah, sedang, dan atau yang akan terjadi, secara lebih detail.

Alur cerita, awal-awalnya berjalan linear namun menjelang akhir menjadi semi linear dan akan menghasilkan multi ending yang semuanya tentu membebaskan gamer, mau memilih ending yang mana. Hasil endingnya itu, terasa sangat dalam di hati dan penulis bisa bilang, bahwa ending game Bastion ini sebagai salah satu ending terbaik dalam RPG PC. Penulis cukup terkejut juga, mengingat pengembang game ini bersifat indie dan belum ternama. Namun, mereka mampu mengolah berbagai unsur cerita ini menjadi sangat menarik, meskipun sebagian besar karakter utama di game ini tak berbicara sama sekali, termasuk The Kid itu sendiri.

Saya sendiri sampai sekarang belum pernah mencoba memainkan game ini dikarenakan ketidakmampuan hardware (maklum kan pake netbook xD), tp saya berjanji suatu saat saya pasti akan mencari cara untuk menaklukkan game ini !
